“Dinner in the Dark” at Pullman Bangkok King Power
Back by popular demand, “Dinner in the Dark” a French gastronomic adventure under an absence of the light, is one of LA FETE projects during 7th – 13th March 2011 at Beta Room, Pullman Bangkok King Power.
Pullman Bangkok King Power together with French Embassy to Thailand organizes “Dinner in the Dark” which is initialed in France by “Dans le Noir?” an In-the-Dark restaurant. This is a second time in Thailand after the overwhelming success in 2009. This extraordinary dinner offers you to awaken your senses of tasting, smelling and touching without eye wide open. Under the complete dark, this will bring you to comprehend the capability of the blind to provide more social opportunity.
To completely waken your senses, the menus will be concealed and changed every night. French styled dishes will be offered as a 3-course menu pairing with wine prepared by Chef Marshall Orton, the Executive Chef of Pullman Bangkok King Power. Another highlight of the night is all dishes will be served by visually handicapped who are well-trained by the team of “Dans le Noir?” especially fly from France for this occasion.
“Dinner in the Dark” will organize during 7th – 13th March 2011, 2 seating’s per day at 6.30 pm and 8.30 pm at Beta Room, Pullman Bangkok King Power. Experience a sensorial dinner at 2,200 baht Nett per person which is every 200 baht will be deducted and supported to the Thailand Association of the Blind. The restaurant “Dans le Noir?” was opened in 2004 by Edouard de Broglie and Etienne Boisrond. There are other restaurants of this kind across the world by “Dans le Noir?” is the first private chain of restaurants that runs in the dark. There are three “In the Dark” restaurants opened in Paris, London and Moscow.
