The upcoming 2011 is considered as an auspicious year in celebrating the 84th birthday anniversary of His Majesty the King of Thailand.
To commemorate this special occasion, both public and private sectors jointly organize a number of activities and exhibitions as a felicitation to His Majesty. This year-long glorious occasion has granted its title from His Majesty as “The Celebrations on the Auspicious Occasion of His Majesty the King’s 7th Cycle Birthday Anniversary 5th December 2011.”
The multimedia show is planned by Bureau of the Royal Household starting from December 17, 2010 to February 28, 2011 at Sala Saha Thai Samakhom within the Grand Palace compound in Bangkok featuring each period of Rattanakosin era when the kings of Chakri were succeed in preserving national monarchy and contribute to the kingdom of Thailand in many respects.
In 2012, there will also be multimedia show created to celebrate the 80th birthday anniversary of Her Majesty the Queen and the 60th birthday anniversary of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn.
The show will be held every day from 7pm. to 8.20pm., except on Mondays and during December 27, 2010 and January 3, 2011. Tickets are available from December 6 at Public Relations Room in the Grand Palace at 500 baht and all the proceeds will be presented to His Majesty the King for charity purpose.
