You could call this a happy accident, SUPERSWEET were searching for the perfect candidates to play our first gig of 2012. And there they were, the Black Lips happened to be looking for an unlikely destination on Earth to rock and roll. We heard Thailand came to mind and here we go…Black Lips…BAM! Bangkok…BAM!
Formed in 1999, now the Black Lips have 6 studio albums to date, the latest being ‘Arabia Mountain’ (mainly produced by Mark Ronson) still sounds just as raw, punk and as lo-fi as their first. But let’s not get distracted by the glowing CV, the Black Lips’ live shows are legendary and must be experienced first hand. In the past there were nudity, fireworks, vomiting and of course full on rock ‘n roll. Though we can’t tell you what to expect, they’re a spontaneous band and will respond to the audience. So make sure you come, be a part of it and make history with us.
